The following lists and accompanying photos illustrate the wide array of habitats which Sylva grows plants for, in the MidAtlantic and Northeastern region.
These photos are representative and do not exhaust all the diverse plant communities on the vast array of topography, geology, soils, hydrologies and ecoregions. Habitats are not static and experience continual succession of seres or stages through time and ecological evolution. These photos can serve as models for design.
We are on a serious track to bring native plants into cultivation from local and regional ecotypes.
